Has anyone ever used the Vin Diesel widget? I knew nothing about it, until yesterday, after I updated my Chuck Norris widget, someone asked me why the Vin Diesel widget was sending them to my website saying it had an update.
I searched for the widget on google, and after I found and downloaded it, guess what I found? The Vin Diesel widget is an exact copy of the first version of my Chuck Norris widget, except someone had replaced the words “Chuck Norris” with “Vin Diesel”. Even the disgusting design that I used in version 1 (it was my first widget) was almost exactly the same. He (the copier) had added a picture of Vin Diesel on the side, and had screwed up all the colors. The back of the widget was even worse (see the pictures below).
But I still wasn’t completely positive that he had copied it. I flipped over the widget, and on the other side was the final proof. The code, that I had written myself, to check for updates was there. Whats more, the jerk had the chutzpa to remove the “Created by FrozenFlameStudios.com” and to replace it with “Created by Mad Productions” complete with a link to his website. I opened up the widget’s files and checked the code. Exact same code.
But the moron made a mistake. He didn’t even know enough to remove the auto update feature (let alone change it for his own purposes). When I updated my Chuck Norris widget, all of the people using his widget thought that there was an update to it and came to my website.
I’m not sure if I should take this all as a compliment or as an insult. On one hand, I spent a lot of time making the widget and then he came along and just copied it all. But on the other hand, its kind of amusing how stupid he is.

Chuck Norris doesn’t take the plane, he roundhouse kicks continuously through the air. That’s right. Oh! And he doesn’t check his luggage. ‘Cause he carries it (like the weight of the world) on his shoulders. Schwiing!

Sorry i don’t know your name but whoever is the guy who made the Chuck Norris widget you could probably sue him for plagerism and when you click yes on the update it does actually send you to the place where Chuck Norris’ widget is downloaded, so maybe he used your instructions on making a widget and made one to advertise you widget, or he did it just to be an ass hole. and if i were the guy who actually made that widget, i wouldn’t have said i was and ass hole or even wrote this.
