In less than 12 hours, Steve Jobs will give his keynote at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2007. Apple has promised that he will unveil all of the “Top Secret Features” in Leopard. Here are my guesses for his keynote:

  • New touch screen iMacs.
  • New features in Leopard that will help developers easily create touch screen applications.
  • The iPhone will support dashboard widgets (based on this patent). Widgets will also have a way of accessing some of the iPhone’s more advanced features (this will probably be similar to the way that widgets can currently interact with your system and run unix commands)
  • New revolutionary changes in Leopard’s user interface will be announced.
  • The default file system will be Leopard ZFS (based on this, and some logical assumptions).
  • Steve Jobs will talk about Core Animation.
  • Steve Jobs will make fun of Microsoft and Vista.

There will be a live audio stream of the keynote at iPhoneAlley.com. If that doesn’t work, Mac Rumors Live has their usual live coverage of the event. While you’re waiting, there’s a game of keynote bingo that you can download here.

Just as a side point, I’d like to point out that touch screen technology combined with Core Animation could have some really awesome results. Lets hope that I’m right on this one.
